Abstract Submission Deadline : 31 January 2012

 

The deadline is fast approaching for submitting abstracts to the PMA 2012 conference.  The deadline is the 31 January 2012 via the online Oxford Abstracts system.  The conference takes place from 10-13 July 2012 at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK - for more details visit www.performanceportal.org/pma2012.

PMA newsletter - calling for submissions!

We are still inviting submissions to the January 2012 edition of the PMA newsletter.  The deadline for receiving submissions has been extended to 20th December 2011, due to technical issues with previous announcements . However, we wish to encourage members who intend to make contributions to get in touch at the earliest opportunity to inform us of your intention to make a submission up to this extended deadline date.

The criteria for submission are listed below, but feel free to contact me if you have any queries. Please send in your articles, comments, news, announcements etc. to newsletter@performanceportal.org .

Perspectives on Performance Submission Criteria

Articles:

• Highlight the contributions of your research
• Highlight the implications and/or contributions to practice
• Where possible illustrate issues with real examples
• Where possible highlight the best practices or lessons learnt from the research.

Announcements:

• Can be announcements for conferences/workshops etc, and also for research projects, studies or calls for papers etc. Kindly Include relevant logos you want included as separate files.

Presentation:

• Article submissions should be 500 - 1,000 words and include relevant diagrams and pictures if possible.
• Please write the articles in third person
• Check the grammar and English spelling
• Avoid jargon or highly academic language.

PMA 2012 Call for Papers

The PMA 2012 Conference will be returning to Cambridge, UK, on 11-13 July 2012 at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge.  The Call for Papers for the PMA's 2012 Conference is now available.  The conference website is www.performanceportal.org/pma2012.

The theme for PMA2012 is Performance Management: From Strategy to Delivery. Exploring the latest thinking and research into how to connect strategy to delivery, through technology, systems and process, the conference will be mixture of keynote and plenary presentations, as well as parallel stream presentations and discussion groups. Delegates and presenters are expected from a range of academic disciplines and from both the academic and practitioner communities.

PMA 2012 Preliminary Announcement

The PMA 2012 Conference will be returning to Cambridge, UK, on 11-13 July 2012 at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge. PMA 2012 will follow on from the successes of previous international conferences, running since 1998, the last of which was hosted at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2009.

The theme for PMA2012 is Performance Management: From Strategy to Delivery. Exploring the latest thinking and research into how to connect strategy to delivery, through technology, systems and process, the conference will be mixture of keynote and plenary presentations, as well as parallel stream presentations and discussion groups. Delegates and presenters are expected from a range of academic disciplines and from both the academic and practitioner communities. 

A full Call for Papers will be released in Autumn 2011. In the meantime, please put the dates in your diary for this popular international event. It will be a unique and valuable opportunity for discussion and communication between academics and practitioners from around the world.

To register your interest in the conference, please register as a user on the Conference Abstract System. You will then be kept informed of conference plans.
