Publishing in the Newseletter

Submission Criteria

Articles:

  • highlight the contributions of your research
  • highlight the implications and/or contributions to practice
  • where possible illustrate issues with real examples
  • where possible highlight the best practices or lessons learnt from the research.

Announcements:

  • can be announcements for conferences/workshops etc, and also for research projects, studies or calls for papers etc.
  • Include relevant logos you want included as separate files.

Presentation:

  • article submissions should be 500 – 1,000 words and include relevant diagrams and pictures if possible.
  • write the articles in third person
  • check the grammar and English spelling
  • avoid jargon or highly academic language.

Deadlines:

January 2012 edition – submissions by 30 Nov 2011 (Vol 9 Iss 2) -  ** extended to 20 Dec 2011
May 2012 edition – submission by 31 March 2011 (Vol 9 Iss 3)
September 2012 edition - submission by 31 July 2012 (Vol 10 Iss 1)
January 2013 edition – submissions by 30 Nov 2012 (Vol 10 Iss 2)
May 2013 edition – submission by 31 March 2013 (Vol 10 Iss 3)

Process:
Submissions should be sent to newsletter@performanceportal.org by the deadline dates as given above. Submissions will then be sent out for review and comments fed back to the author where appropriate for amendments.
