Max is Director of Sheffield Business School's Quality and Performance Research Unit. He is a chartered quality professional and a Fellow of both the Operational Research Society and the Chartered Quality Institute.
He is a member of the steering group of the Healthcare Advisory Forum and the British Quality Foundation's Local Government and Communities interest group.
Research interests include the Public Sector Scorecard - a performance management framework focussing on delivering the outcomes that matter to service users and other stakeholders.
He is an experienced plenary speaker and workshop facilitator.
